For me, the sense of art is to explore nature through artistic tools and to highlight the essence. For me, the meaning of art goes far beyond material artefacts. I see it as an objective instrument that enters into a sensual dialogue with the viewer and positively changes areas of life.

My works develop from what I perceive sensually, what I observe, hear, smell, taste, touch. I am interested in the substance of what surrounds me, its identity, its reality. That is why my work always begins with perceiving my environment, interacting with it and artistically reflecting on its physicality. In doing so, I always keep an eye on current events and create artworks that allow us to read, recognize and understand the environment and oursel- ves more clearly.

I have a passion for technology and science and often collaborate with research institutes and experts for the development of my artworks. These collaborations include projects with renowned institutions such as the Fraunhofer Institute, the Centre for Networks and the Bremen Institute for Production and Logistics as well as specialized excellent craft businesses.
